Billy apologizes to the tree for not cutting it down in chapter nine. Billy tries to cut the tree down to catch a coon for his dogs. He spends days and nights to cut the tree down, but even though the tried to cut it down, the tree is too big for him to cut it down. He also makes a scarecrow to not let the coon go away. he tries so hard. When it is half way through, he gave up. His hand hurts so much that he can't hold the ax any longer. And he said that he is sorry for the tree. I think he is sorry because that tree died because of the coon. Billy has already killed it, so if he can't cut it down that tree has died for no reason. That is why he is sorry. He doesn't have a choice. He has already promised the dogs for a coon, and he must cut that tree down for a coon.

When I was in elementary school in second grade, I had to decide to go to my uncle's house or not. I had one week to decide. I wanted to go there and have fun with my uncle and my cousin's house, but I had so much assignments to do. I thought for a long time. I asked my parents what to do, and they didn't respond. I started to ask my friends and teachers and all they said, "I don't know just figure it by yourself". I was kind of afraid because this assignment is super important and if I couldn't finish it, I will lose lots of points. Suddenly I figured out a way to solve everything. It was so simple. All I had to do was just do the homework at my uncle's house. That decision seemed significant, but my mom told me that we can't take many things there because if we are going to go there, we should bring many things such as clothes, electronic devices, and swimming suits (because we are going to swimming pool )if we go there. When I heard that there were no more decision. I had to finish the assignment in a week or more to finish because I should decide to go or not in a week. After that, I worked hard and finished it! now all I had to do was go and have fun. I had only one decision, but I think even though I had only one decision, it was the best decision because I didn't have to worry about the assignment while I was playing with my cousin.
